 Bio

Melody was born in North Bergen, New Jersey from Cuban-American parents and grew up in Secaucus, New Jersey. At six year's old Melody began dancing with little interest at Oneida's Dance Studio, the first Hispanic dance school in Hudson County, NJ. It wasn't until her pre-teens that Melody began to take interest in the art form. Her dance instructors inspired her to pursue the performing arts professionally. During her high school years she placed high scores in dance competition, performed in parades and continuously sought out opportunities to grow through workshops and intensives. Melody is proud to have graduated from Montclair State University with a BA in Dance Education.
